Both cottages share the same phone number 440-466-8931. When the phone rings it could be for either cottage. Free long distance calls. Captain Joes has no phone.
Check in is 3 pm and checkout is 11 am. NO SMOKING PERMITED IN THE COTTAGES. OUTSIDE ONLY.
Deposit Refund Guarantee: Deposits are non-refundable for any reason. We do offer a guarantee that allows you to cancel up till 3 pm on day of arrival. The charge is 7 % of your rental fee. This does not apply to early check outs. You are responsible for your entire stay. Full payment is due on arrival by credit card, cash or check.
Fires are permitted on the beach but never on the commons grass area.
No animals of any sort are permitted in the cottages. No exceptions.
We do not rent to singles under 21 years old for any reason. We rent to families only and any reservations made under false pretenses will result in loss of deposit.
Maximum occupancy limits 7 Sailboat and 8 Lighthouse 8 Captain Joes will be strictly enforced. The cottages are not to exceed these limits and this is grounds for cancellation.
Parking is very limited. The Lighthouse Cottage has 2 spaces both in the driveway. The sailboat cottage has 2 spaces along the fence in front of the cottage. Captain Joes Cottage has parking one on the grass straight in and one along chain link fence There can be no changes because all other spaces belong to property owners on the street. Any guest may park in the public picnic area by the Lodge. The walk is very short.
The grassy area in front of the cottages is the commons area owned and used by all property owners on the street.
No lifeguards are on duty. Swim at your own risk. Lake Eire can be rough so parents must accompany young children to the beach.
Loud or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. Be considerate of others on the street. The speed limit on Putnam is 5 mph Children at play and the dust is terrible if you go fast.
Please place trash bags in outside containers and secure the lids. Be sure garbage cans are put out by the flag pole for Sunday night pickup and put them back Monday morn. Captain Joes cans can be put out in front of house
When leaving be sure all dishes are clean and dirty towels and bed linens (not the bed spreads) are in the bath tubs. We certainly appreciate that the cottage is in as good condition as you found it. Guests assume full responsibility for all damages, excessive cleaning charges, or any missing or broken items.
